Our guide
Midagahara is an area of wetlands near Tateyama in Toyama, registered as a Ramsar site in 2012. It is one of the highlights of the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route. Our source says little more than that, so this page is short.
This is high mountain country, and we have not checked the route's season, timetables or fares, so check the operator's information and the weather before you go.
