The Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse is worth the trip for the buildings themselves. The complex at the Port of Yokohama, officially the Newport Pier Bonded Warehouse, was originally used as customs buildings and now holds a shopping mall, a banquet hall and event venues. It has two sections, Warehouse No. 1 and No. 2, and is run by Yokohama Akarenga Co. Ltd.
Nihon-ōdōri Station is about 600 m away in a straight line. The warehouse sits among the site's other Yokohama spots: Yokohama Stadium and Hikawa Maru are each about 1 km away in a straight line, Yokohama Chinatown and Yokohama Landmark Tower about 1.1 km, and Minato Mirai about 1.2 km. We have not checked opening hours or fees; the official site has them.
