Uwajima Castle, also called Tsurushima Castle, is a castle on a hill in the plain in the city of Uwajima, Ehime. It is one of only twelve castles in Japan that still have their original keep, and it has been a National Historic Site since 1937.
Uwajima Station on the Yosan Line is about 750 m away in a straight line. We have not checked opening hours or fees for the keep.

Uwajima Castle (宇和島城, Uwajima-jō) is a hirayama-jiro Japanese castle located in the city of Uwajima, Ehime, Japan. An alternate name for this castle is Tsurushima-jō. The castle is one of twelve Japanese castles to still have its historical tenshu. It has been protected as a National Historic Site since 1937.
