Our guide

Takada Castle was an Edo-period castle on flat ground in what is now the centre of Jōetsu, Niigata, and the seat of the Takada Domain under the Tokugawa shogunate. Our source says little more than that, so this page is short.

Takada Station on the Myōkō Haneuma Line is about 1.4 km away in a straight line. We have not checked what can be seen on the site today.
