Our guide
Shimofuri Castle was a mountain castle of the Nanboku-chō period in what is now the city of Ube, Yamaguchi. Its ruins have been a Yamaguchi Prefectural Historic Site since 1968. Our source says little more than that, so this page is short.
It is a mountain site. We have not checked the paths or a public-transport route, so look for local information before you go.
