Our guide
Kuromon Market is a market and shopping street in Nipponbashi, Chūō Ward, Osaka, spreading south of Sennichimae-dōri around the street one block east of Sakaisuji. Some 150 to 160 shops line about 580 m of covered arcade, selling a wide range of food — fresh fish, meat and produce above all — and in Osaka it is known as a treasure-house of food.
Nippombashi Station on the Sakaisuji Line is about 200 m away in a straight line, and Dotonbori about 600 m, so the two make an easy pair.
