Our guide
Kōra Taisha stands on Mount Kōra in the city of Kurume, Fukuoka. It was the ichinomiya of the former Chikugo Province and also its sōja. It was also known as Kōra Tamatare-no-miya, and its main festival is held every year on 9 October.
Mii Station on the Kyūdai Main Line is about 1.3 km away in a straight line. Because the shrine is on a mountain, check the way up before you go; we have not checked it.
