Our guide
Chiran Castle was a castle in the Chiran area of the city of Minamikyūshū, Kagoshima. Its ruins were designated a National Historic Site in 1993. Our source says little more than that, so this page is short.
Chiran Peace Museum for Kamikaze Pilots is about 1 km away and Chiran Samurai District about 1.1 km. We have not checked what can be seen on the site today.
