Our guide
Minato Castle stood in what is now Tsuchizaki Minato, in the city of Akita. Through the Muromachi period it was the home of the Andō clan, rulers of northern Dewa Province. Our source says little more than that, so this page is short.
Tsuchizaki Station on the Ōu Main Line is about 250 m away in a straight line. Akita Castle is about 2 km away and Koshiō Shrine about 2.6 km.
