Our guide

Nagoya Dome, called Vantelin Dome Nagoya for sponsorship reasons, is a domed baseball stadium in Nagoya built in 1997 — a geodesic dome holding 36,418 for sport and 49,000 for concerts. It has been the home of the Chunichi Dragons since it opened, has also been used by the Orix BlueWave and the Kintetsu Buffaloes, and hosted a group-stage game of the 2024 WBSC Premier12.

Our checked record gives two ways in: the Meijō Line subway or the Yutorito Line guideway bus to Nagoya Dome-mae Yada Station, a short walk from Exit 1; or the JR Chūō Line or Meitetsu Seto Line to Ōzone Station and a longer walk. Times are in “Plan your visit” below.
