Our guide
Takachiho Shrine in the town of Takachiho, Miyazaki, is dedicated to Takachiho-sumegami, Jisha Daimyōjin and Mikeiri-no-mikoto. Our source says little more than that, so this page is short.
Takachiho Gorge is about 400 m away and Kushifuru Shrine about 1.3 km. We have not checked a public-transport route.
