Our guide
Oka Castle was a mountain castle of the Sengoku to Edo periods in the city of Taketa, Ōita. Its ruins have been a National Historic Site since 2023. Our source says little more than that, so this page is short.
Bungo-Taketa Station on the Hōhi Main Line is about 1.7 km away in a straight line, and Harajiri Falls about 4.1 km. We have not checked the paths, opening hours or fees.
