Our guide
Mount Haruna is a dormant stratovolcano in Gunma Prefecture, in the Kantō region. Our source says little more than that, so this page leans on its neighbours: Lake Haruna is about 1.5 km away in a straight line, and Haruna Shrine about 2.1 km, and each has a page of its own.
We have not checked a public-transport route, so plan the journey on the map.
