Our guide

Kokusai-dōri, “International Street”, runs about 1.6 km through Naha, from the Kenchō-kitaguchi intersection to the Asato junction. It is the liveliest street in Okinawa and the heart of Naha's main shopping and entertainment district.

The Yui Rail monorail serves both ends: Kenchōmae Station at the south entrance and Makishi Station at the north, so you can walk its length and ride back. On Sundays part of the street becomes a pedestrian-first “Transit Mile”; the times and conditions are in “Plan your visit” below. Naminoue Shrine & Beach is about 1.7 km away.
