Our guide
Awa Shrine, in the Daijingū area of the city of Tateyama, Chiba, is one of two shrines that claim to be the ichinomiya of the former Awa Province. Its main festival is held every year on 10 August. Our source says little more than that, so this page is short.
We have not checked a public-transport route, so plan the journey on the map and look for local information before you go.
