Our guide

Magome-juku was the 43rd of the 69 post towns of the Nakasendō, the Edo-period highway between Edo and Kyoto, and the last of the eleven stations of the Kisoji, the older road through the Kiso Valley that became part of the Nakasendō. It lay in the old province of Mino and is now part of the city of Nakatsugawa.

Our source says little more than that, so this page does not describe the town today. We have not checked a public-transport route, so plan the journey on the map and look for local information before you go.
