Our guide

Naruko Onsen is a hot-spring town in Ōsaki, Miyagi, inside Kurikoma Quasi-National Park. With Iizaka and Akiu it is counted among the three famous hot springs of the Ōshū region, and it is a designated national health spa. Its variety is the point: seven of the ten types of spring water defined under Japan's Hot Springs Act rise here.

The town spreads out from Naruko-Onsen Station on the Rikuu East Line, about 100 m from the point this page is mapped to, so it is easy to reach by train. We have not checked individual inns or baths.
