Our guide

A kazurabashi is a vine bridge: a primitive suspension bridge built from vines such as silver vine. The best known is at Zentoku in Nishi-Iyayama, part of Miyoshi, Tokushima, and two more span the river further upstream at Sugeoi in Higashi-Iya. All of them are for people on foot only.

We have not checked opening hours, fees or a public-transport route, so plan the journey on the map and look for local information before you go.
