Our guide

Tōfuku-ji in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto, takes its name from two temples in Nara, Tōdai-ji and Kōfuku-ji. It is one of the Kyoto Gozan, the five great Zen temples of Kyoto, and its mountain name is Enichi-san. Our source says little more than that, so this page is short.

Fushimi Inari Taisha is about 1.1 km away in a straight line and Sanjūsangen-dō about 1.2 km. Toba-kaidō Station on the Keihan Main Line is about 550 m off. We have not checked opening hours or fees.
