Watatsu Shrine, in the Hamochi Iioka area of the city of Sado, Niigata, was the ichinomiya of the former Sado Province. Its main festival is held every year on 23 April. Our source says little more than that, so this page is short.

Watatsu Shrine (度津神社, Watatsu-jinja) is a Shinto shrine in the Hamochiiioka neighborhood of the city of Sado, Niigata. It is the ichinomiya of former Sado Province. The main festival of the shrine is held annually on the April 23.
