Our guide

Takasaki Castle, in Takasaki in southern Gunma, was ruled by many different clans over its history; at the end of the Edo period it was the home of a branch of the Matsudaira clan, daimyō of the Takasaki Domain. It was also known as Wada-jō.

Takasaki Station is about 750 m away in a straight line, and Takasaki Byakue Daikannon about 2.6 km. We have not checked what can be seen on the site today.
