Our guide
Kunohe Castle, in what is now the city of Ninohe, Iwate, was a castle controlled by the Nanbu clan. It was also called Fukuoka Castle or Miyano Castle. Our source says little more than that, so this page is short.
Ninohe Station on the Iwate Galaxy Railway is about 1.8 km away in a straight line. We have not checked what can be seen on the site today.
